Prix Fixe Lunch at Ambrosia – Vitacura – Santiago
To execute this many dishes without any significant failure is an admirable achievement. And to be able to have the full variety of the a la carte menu for the executive lunch offering is huge plus.
Ox – Restaurant Review – Santiago – Vitacura
Ox offers tender, dry aged steaks in a sophisticated setting. Expensive, but worth it. The gold standard in South America. As good or better than anything in Buenos Aires or Sao Paulo.
Da Carla – Santiago – Vitacura
This is not your typical Italian restaurant. It’s Italian cuisine to the nth degree in an elegant setting. A great experience, whether you choose to dine indoors or on the glassed-in terrace. Superb execution and service.
Aquí Esta Coco – Providencia – Santiago
Santiago’s premier seafood experience. Fabulous ambiance and consistently good food. There are perhaps more impressive gourmet options in Santiago. But none that speak “Santiago” more distinctly than Coco Pacheco’s Aquí Esta Coco. If we had to choose two restaurants on the must go list for Santiago this one and Confitería Torres would most likely be those two restaurants.
Kilometro 0 (KM 0) – Las Condes – Santiago
Best location for a restaurant in Santiago, adjacent to the W Hotel. Nouvelle cuisine adequately executed but lacking the pizzazz we’d like to see from a restaurant so masterfully decorated. Menu is reasonably priced considering the prime location.
